Let's talk about five video marketing strategies to improve your lead generation. Welcome to Video Marketing Made Easy, where we believe video is the most powerful way to monetize your message, grow your business and stand out in the market. So when it comes to video marketing, it should be at the center of your marketing efforts. Yes, you need products and services available to buy easily on your website. But people won't actually go to your website to buy them unless they are invited to do so. And that invitation comes best with content like video, whether it's on social media coming from an event or wherever your audience spends their time online and off. Video marketing should again be at the center of everything you do. When you're looking to attract your audience and build brand awareness for my fellow marketers out there and those who are looking to generate more leads. Get more people on your contact list who can then buy your products and services, you can improve your lead generation when you use video along each step of the clients buying journey. So let's consider five ways to use video to generate more of these leads. The first way to use videos to attract more leads online is to put together a video ad a video ad is that first step before someone becomes a lead, that they learn about your business and learn about what you have to offer. And why they should go to your website, go to your landing page, go to that free lead magnet by being educated on social media in an ad, this ad may be a talking head ad maybe it's an animated ad, maybe it's professional, commercial, whatever it may be, you want to attract your best fit clients and customers and invite them to take that next step to go to your website. So first, put effort into using video inside of a video ad to first attract those future leads. Okay, so your prospects just saw your ad, and they clicked on it, they tapped on it on their phone, and it took them to your website, a landing page, you have an opportunity here to add another video in the step of their journey. This landing page video, often called a video sales letter, can sell them on why they can benefit from this free resource this free product or service you're offering. Or maybe it's paid and they can already buy into your business. This message oftentimes can be in the form of a tutorial. Education explainer some kind of product demonstration or sales message that helps them feel like they can benefit from what you're offering landing or sales pages with video opting convert up to 86% higher than pages without when you can present your sales message present the reason why a future customer can benefit from your business or the specific product or service you're offering, then it's going to be easier, they can connect with you through the form of a talking head, or a list of other types of videos already described. And in doing so these prospects have now decided to register and become a new lead in your business. And this leads us to tip number three, use a personalized video message and follow up emails and campaigns. Once you have the contact information of your future paying customer then they are on your email list. They are even pixeled from your campaign to be remarketed to, to have a follow up message from you. This is where you can use video that does follow up with them, invites them to take the next step whether it's to now pay for a product or service, or upgrade what they already purchased. And you can do so with email. We often call it an email sales campaign where it's automatic, it's set up you don't have to touch it once you built it. And after they become a lead, they get automatic emails from you rolled out over several days, weeks or months or years. And in those emails, there can be gifts, maybe a wavy GIF of you. Maybe it's just a link or a button or an image they can click on and it takes them to a new page, a new landing page where they can watch a video message from you. This is a follow up video. So it's relevant to them with where they are in their journey. They're already a lead so you're not trying to convince them to opt in again, but you're convincing them as to why they should one buy now or to be prepared to buy in the future. Another form of follow up beyond email is through direct messages or DMS or personalized emails that are not automatic but are coming from you or your sales team specifically, I have found it so powerful in my team to do simple messages recorded from our phones or from our webcams that are naming that person that specific lead by name at the beginning and seeing if they have any questions or inviting them to take the next step. If anything else, it gives that visual reminder that, hey, I'm here to help our businesses here to help. And again, inviting them to take the next step. The fourth tip to use video marketing for lead generation is in retargeting ads. So oftentimes, from a video ad, you have pixeled, this client this lead, and you have the data information on them. In order to know Hey, they watched this ad they became a lead. Now let's send this follow up video ad to get them to buy the next product or service. It's similar to what we talked about with email follow up or a sales team follow up, where it's a follow up through a specific ad. That is directly it's a direct response, it's directly inviting them to buy now. And the fifth tip, which really helps you seal the deal or close the deal is to use case study or testimonial videos. This can be user generated, or professionally produced from a team like video supply. And in doing so you're able to capture the story of past or current clients or customers who have been successful with your business, make sure to check out this other episode linked above or below, where you can learn about how to create effective video testimonials that sell. So in creating testimonial videos, what you're able to do is create relevance and credibility and create an emotional connection with your clients or customers and where they're at in their buying journey. Maybe they haven't purchased it yet. And they need that extra little persuasion, there is no better way to persuade them than not using you but using someone who has been successful who's like them. And because you're using video to create this testimonial, you are building social proof, you're adding additional reason as to why the client can make that final decision and buy that product or service book that sales call. And these testimonial videos can fit inside of the email sequence that is automatic and going out in follow up. Maybe it is on your sales page. Maybe it's promoted on social media to further close that deal for those who are on the fence and haven't bought yet. Okay, so those are five tips and strategies around how to use video marketing for your lead generation. And let's add one more. This sixth tip is to use video and the onboarding experience for your new clients. This turns them from new paying customers to superfans who are going to promote and become ambassadors for sharing the good news about your products and services your company with their colleagues and their network. These videos may look like FAQ or frequently asked question videos that exist in email on website or other areas that are only accessible by paying customers. Maybe it's a welcome video or welcome series of videos that help train up or prepare a client for your product or service. Or maybe it's personalized customer support videos in a knowledge base, or a training center relevant to the service or product that you're offering. All this being said video is the most powerful type of content you can use to generate more leads and to get more people on your email list so that way you can sell them on your products and services.
